Medical Director for Molecular and Digital Pathology – Stony Brook, NY – $200k – $250k yr- (US Citizen or Green Card Only)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pathologist to serve as the Medical Director for Molecular and Digital Pathology for our academic client in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in implementing and managing molecular and digital pathology programs, as well as a passion for teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage the Molecular and Digital Pathology programs at the University.
• Provide comprehensive training to residents and fellows in molecular and digital pathology.
• Serve as a clinical consultant on molecular and digital pathology matters.
• Oversee the validation and implementation of digital pathology systems.
• Develop and maintain the Molecular and Digital Pathology curriculum.
• Conduct research in molecular and digital pathology.

Qualifications:

• MD, DO, or equivalent in Anatomic Pathology.
• Board certification in Molecular Pathology or equivalent.
• American Board of Pathology eligible or certified in Anatomic Pathology.
• Eligibility for New York State licensure.
• Strong diagnostic skills and the potential to serve as an outstanding educator.
• Demonstration of scholarly contributions in molecular and digital pathology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience and training in both digital and molecular pathology
