Director of Outbound Sales (Remote) – $90k-$100k yr- (US Citizen or Green Card Only)

As the Director of Outbound Sales, you will continue to build, design, & oversee the company’s growing outbound department.
You will be working closely with the CEO to help generate enough qualified appointments every single month to close $500,000 in total contract value. This would amount to a little over 14 new clients a month, based upon our current average deal size.
The Director will adopt the overall goals and plan, agreed upon by the Leadership Team and drive those results. The Director plays a pivotal role in planning, recruiting, and directing sales development representatives and their teams to achieve sales targets and ultimately drive new revenue for our advertising agency.
The Director will forecast & set sales goals & quotas, build sales plans, analyze data, conduct training with their team, and assist in the decision making process of hiring/structuring the outbound sales teams.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Outbound Product Architecture
- Design & Implement the company’s own Outbound strategy for the sales team. Architectural oversight of a 3, 6, 9, 12 month Outbound Sales team functionality.
- Full Line-Management of existing sales team – specific to the new platform. Includes hiring, firing, promoting, & mentoring the team to reach key measurements, goals & sales targets.
Leadership
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert within Outbound Lead Generation. Duties include being the main point of contact across the business for planning, directives, and overall vision of the Outbound strategy.
- Attend key company meetings; daily stand-ups with direct reports – weekly wrap-ups – monthly planning strategies – quarterly meetings – etc.
- Development of annual business development strategy including KPIs, forecasting and portfolio diversification that aligns with the core competencies of the business.
- Report on progress against the plan to the leadership team.
- Work cross-functionally with different departments – executive board, creation/media team, sales, & operations.
Streamlining Process
- Direct team to meet daily, weekly, monthly goals based on the process set forth. The company has already started the process of Outbound Lead Generation, the director needs to provide a high-level overview of where the end goal comes from, and troubleshoot throughout the process to make appropriate adjustments when needed.
- Initiate Full Life-Cycle Career Progression Module
- The business is ideally looking for a leader who has completed an Outbound Lead-Generation module before. You are responsible for roadmapping how a Sales Development Rep becomes a Sales Development Specialist, and then into an Account Executive. This is based on inputs that you specifically model, which eventually lead to true outcomes.
Management
- Develop lucrative incentive schemes and introduce monetary benefits to encourage high performance and get the best out of every member of the team.
- Forecast and manage hiring needs, overseeing the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training of new sales reps.
- Work with marketing lead & ensure we are getting enough leads for each SDR
Requirements
- Successful track record (4+ years) of building outbound teams within a digital agency, Saas, or professional services environment.
- Relevant backgrounds: Digital Marketing, SAAS, Enterprise, E-Commerce
- Experience hiring & managing a team of at least 6 fully ramped SDRs
- You use data and analytics to drive your decision making process, identify areas for improvement, and track progress
- Prior experience in Sales/Solutions Architecture (Relevant Projects worked on must be shown)
- 2+ years experience within Leadership at prior listed industries.
- Firm understanding of the Direct Response Marketing industry.
- 2 years experience working with Hubspot, setting up reporting, pipelines, and dashboards
